Lifeguard
Under the general direction of the Lifeguard Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the safety of park guests in and out of the water environments. This also includes, but is not limited to, cleaning pools, maintaining grounds, and cleaning other facilities within the park. Applicants must be 16 yrs. of age with a valid driver's license, current lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certification through the American Red Cross. Applications are located in the Honey Bowen Building, 1 Max Lockwood Drive, Statesboro, Georgia.
Grounds Maintenance Worker
Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for seasonal Grounds Maintenance Staff. Applicants must have a valid driver's license. Applications may be picked up at the Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department (Honey Bowen Building), 1 Max Lockwood Drive, Statesboro. The position is open until filled.
Heavy Equipment Operator
The Bulloch County Transportation Department is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator. This position is responsible for operating various heavy equipment such as a motorgrader, excavator, pan, backhoe, and a bulldozer, and for supervising inmates for the purpose of constructing and maintaining county roads and drainage systems. A valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia is required, as well as the ability to obtain a commercial driver's license. Commercial driver's license is REQUIRED by employees driving tractor-trailer and lowboy. Applicants must also be able to obtain P.O.S.T. Certification by the Georgia Department of Corrections within 6 months of hire date. This position closes on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.
Part-Time Program Coordinator
Keep Bulloch Beautiful is accepting applications for a Part-Time Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for implementing recycling and educational programs. Applicant must have knowledge of Keep Bulloch Beautiful's mission and objectives. Some college required; 4 year degree preferred.
