Land Disturbing Permit

Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control plans, complying with Georgia requirements, are required for all projects disturbing over 1.1 acres. Bulloch County is a Local Issuing Authority for Land Disturbing within the unincorporated area. Plans submitted to the Zoning Department are forwarded to the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for review. After NRCS approval, the applicant will be notified and required to apply for a Land Disturbing Permit. A County and State Land Disturbing fee are required for issuance of a Land Disturbing Permit (State fee should be sent directly to EPD). A building permit can be applied concurrently with application for a Land Disturbing Permit; however, the building permit will not be issued until the Land Disturbing Permit is issued.
